Sales of PS3 games to the end of 2008 -

i just saw on x-play the tv show on g4 tv that the metal gear sold game sold just over a million copies to the end of 2008. the game little big planet sold 611k units and the game resistance 2 sold 598k over the time it was out in 2008. this does not look good for the ps3 to have only one game with over a million unit sold. what do you think of this info for the ps3?
when i first started reading your post i thought those were huge numbers!! i suppose it is due to the poor economy. the games are $60 a pop, which can get kind of spendy. i don't like the fact that so many good titles always come out in the fall, i just can't buy them all. i just have to pick and choose my favorites and get the others when i have the money. hopefully sales will pick up for sony.
this is just a showing of how much there is a need for the ps3 to drop the price of there system to get it in line with the rest of the next gen system. they only had one game that sold over a million units and that was not buy much. i think that there will be some kind of a price drop on the system sooner then later.
wow i am shocked to see that only one game was able to break the 1 million mark for ps3 games. i had thought that little big planet would have made it to the 1 million mark this past year. i hope that they do have a price drop to get more ps3's into peoples hands this year.
i am not surprized that the sales of the ps3 games did not get higher. there is just not the number of people with a ps3 as there are the wii and xbox. sony needs to get more of there ps3's into peoples houses. the blu ray win over hd will help this out some as people start to bring blu ray to there homes. come on sony don't let us down!
well like you guys said this is not that much of a surprise because they need to get more systems out there. if sony does drop the price this will help that part of the game. then they will have more then one game sell a million games. sony needs to hire some of the people on the outside to help them out.
