can i use a playstation 3 blu-ray drive in my home computer? - 06-14-2011, 05:19 AM

i have a playstation 3 that the power supply died on my. i was wanting to just gut it and use it for parts. i was just wondering if i could take the blu-ray drive out and place it in my desktop. i haven't heard of anyone doing and i haven't been able to find anything online to say if it is possible or not.
