capcom has announced that its boisterous brawler,
sengoku basara: samurai heroes, will arrive in north america on october 12. launching simultaneously on wii and playstation 3,
samurai heroes sees you ''''''picking up the arms of more than a dozen samurai heroes'''''' in 16th century japan. with so many limbs strewn about, that must have been a pretty horrific time.
action fans will be keen to see how the game was shaped by
devil may cry 4 producer hiroyuki kobayashi, and history buffs should be pleased by sengoku basara's attentive retelling of all the famous battles between japan's magical super-generals. sure, the 200-hit air juggles are an unbelievable embellishment (most historians balk at anything over 147 hits), but if you're looking for a 1:1 combat simulation, try
dynasty warriors instead.
