the magazine that started it all has sent out it's last issue for the almost 20 year old magazine. the january 2009 issue is was the last one that they will send out. this was the magazine that started the video game era. what did you guys think of egm over the years? here is a link that to read the full story.

i thought it was an excellent magazine, i never had an actual subscription, but i have read them many of times. it is terrible that the economy is doing this to many places.

this is sad in some ways but they had be going more to the xbox over the past few years. i have not read any of the egm magazines in like 5 years i think. they just had to go for xbox and now look were they are dead.

that is to bad i use to read this all the time and would love to have the first issue of this magazine as it is going to be worth a lot of money soon. i know i should have put this in the attic. that is to bad for egm but they were starting to go over to the xbox side.

it is kind of shame that they are going under, they actually had some good information in them. hopefully there won't be any more that have the same thing happen to them.

that is strange i just say a spot on the internet that was giving away a free year to the egm magazine. i guess that you will not have to worry about getting the free year now. that kinda sucks i like to get free game magazines.
