PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Worldwide Sales Numbers

well it looks like the ps3 is not as far behind has some people think it is to the xbox 360 these days. the ps3 had 10.77 and the xbox 360 only had 10.8 million. that to me is not as much of a gap as they say there is. i would say that the ps3 will pass the xbox in the next year or so. what do you guys think of this news and here is the full story.

wow that is good news for the ps3 to only be behind about 300 k in units shipped out. that will more then likely help show that the ps3 is gaining ground and will more then likely pass the xbox 360 soon. if there is a price drop on the ps3 then there is no doubt that they will pass them up.

well it is about time to see that the ps3 is about to catch that darn xbox 360. i think this will happen this year. i agree if there is a price drop then the xbox 360 will be in for a world of hurt.

this is good to see. maybe sony is finally going to get it right and start to pull ahead of the microsoft. i will agree with the price drop and the xbox 360 will be dead in the water for sure.

i really do not see the machines comparable, with the ps3 being a blu ray player. you really cannot compare the two of them, ps3 is so much better. they will surpass the xbox quite quickly.

i agree, it won't be much longer until the ps3 surpasses xbox. they do not have the uniqueness that ps3 has, nor the game selection. way to go playstation!

i think this just shows that the ps3 will be taking over the market from the xbox 360. this only shows just how good the ps3 is and more and more people are going to be getting one. this is the beginning of the end of the xbox.

if sony manage a price cut then that gap might close up. i know a lot of people who are saving up for a ps3 right now or waiting for a price drop
