i have been wondering for some time now what is the best way to have your ps3 hooked up to the internet. i have mine setup wireless but is this the best or is it slower. i know that the wired connection is much faster in my pc but does this make any kind of difference in the speed.

well i also have mine setup to be wireless and have never had any trouble with the speed of the games or any online play. i am sure if you go with the wired connection you will see some more speed out of it for downloads. i have not had any problems that have made me try the wired connection.

my ps3 internet connection is set up wireless as well. i have debated to connect it wired, just because i lose the connection often. it is not close to my modem though so i would have to switch things around.

i have more than one ps3 in the home, and they are all set up wirelessly. my router needs to be replaced soon, so sometimes when i cannot connect to the internet i have to restart that.
