i have been using the component cables for some time now but have heard that the hdmi cable would be better. does any one know if this is true or not? i do not want to spend the money on a hdmi cable if i am not going to see a big difference in the picture.

i would spend the money on an hdmi cable. are you going to use your ps3 to watch movies? we use our machine to watch movies all the time, and we have hdmi cables. its all on personal preference, and what you plan to use it for.

there is nothing better then playing your ps3 with the hdmi cable in place. this is the only way that you will be able play your games up to the 1080p as well. the cable that comes with your ps3 will only let you play your games up to that 420p range. the hdmi cable will be well worth it in the long run. this will also make your blu ray movies look that much better as well.
