it is official! guitar hero:metallica will hit for the playstation 3 on march 29th, 2009. xbox 360 will release the same day, but wii and ps2 users will supposidly have to wait till may to get their copy.

i am very excited for this edition to come out, i love metallica. some of the more popular metallica songs that will be on this game are:

i am so excited for this game to come out, there are going to be a lot of great hits on it. i am surprised that they did another version with a band because aerosmith did so poorly overall. there are a lot of great tracks on this edition. it is a bummer to see that the wii version will not be out until may because thats what i would get. i am glad to see oasis' wonderwall will be on there. can't wait!

half of those metallica songs i have never heard of! there are a couple of classics though, and i agree that this will be a lot better than aerosmith, that game was just bad! i am glad it is not coming out for two more months because i am still trying to earn all of the songs on guitar hero world tour.

i have noticed that since the holidays are over i have been finding the guitar hero games much cheaper, and on sale more often. this is nice because $59.99 for a ps3 game can add up quite quickly.

i love the guitar hero games! they are so much fun and even my kids love to walk around with the guitars around them. they love to play the ps3 version with me!! the metallica one i am hopeing will be much better then the last one that was in the one band mode of the aerosmith. i will be out there 1st thing in the morning to pickup this newest guitar hero game.

i am a big fan of the guitar hero games but metallica come on. why not come out with a second world tour or something like that. the amount of songs on the band named ones is not that great. look what happen when they put aerosmith on there own game. the aerosmith one is by far the worst one of the bunch. i am hopeful that this one will not be as bad as that one was.

the kids heard about this the other day and they are quite excited. i think it is kind of funny because they weren't even around when they were really popular. i hope it has a lot of songs unlike the aerosmith edition, that one was just not good.

i am with you on this one peter why do they think that they need to come out with an exclisve to one band. i like metallica as a band but i also liked aerosmith and that was by far the worst of th gh's that is out there.
