the best video game in 2008 to come out was little big planet. it is truly a game for all ages, even my four year old can play it. let me tell you a little about lbp.

your character, sackman, is the cutest and most adoreable character. you can dress him up however you like, you can even move his head by shaking your controller up and down.

you go through the preset levels in the game and collect items for your sackman and for the board creation part of the game. the levels are ok in the game, but what really makes it all is that you have the capability of being able to create levels and publish them on their online community for the world to play.

i have personally spent quite some time playing levels that others have created, and i am impressed at some of the skills people have. you can create anything from cars , monsters and even buildings. the possibilities are endless on lbp.

the music is a little cheesy on it, but the graphics are pretty good.

i would have to agree with you that little big planet is one of the best games of the year. the best part of this game is how you can always have something new to play everyday from others out there making levels for you. the way that you are able to change the way your sackman looks is cool to from painting the clothes that he is wearing to preset costumes you can buy from the playstation store.

i haven't tried little big planet out, but i have heard good things about it. i would be concerned as to how much you can do with the levels though. if you have a sense of creativity though, this would be a fun game.

little big planet is a great game for the playstation 3. it is a game that is geared towards the whole family, and up to four players can play at a time. a wireless internet connection is a must have for this game though, because it would be pretty lame without the online boards.

i even played the regular levels with online players because i found it was a lot easier to earn all the prize bubbles with more players at a time. i had the strategy guide with the game so i knew where they were located, but i had a hard time obtaining some of them without other players.

this game is a must have in everyone's collection.

i love this game as well. but i don't like to play with others online often just because they smack me around and i could never figure out how to do that. i would think the controls would be hard for a young child. i like to put my creativity to work and make levels. i had one pulled off the online world because it supposidly violated their terms and conditions, and i have no idea why. they even erased my board off of ''''''my levels'''''' so i couldn't even go back and see why.
