i am looking to get a game to get for my kids. they are 6 and 8 years old and love to play games but there is not much out there for the ps3. do you guys know what i should get for them to play that will be fun but not have any violence in it. any help will be a great help for me.

wall-e is a more recent game out for the ps3 that would be great for kids. the movie itself is quite new, and still really popular. i played the free demo a while back and i thought it was a lot of fun. come to think of it, i think it's price has been cut recently too.

hands down, little big planet. it is a pretty easy game to play, and you do not have to worry about weapons and violence. you kids can use their creativity to create their own levels to play. this is the type of game that lasts a long time because there are so many things to do on this game. they will be playing it for months. you can even change your characters emotions, as depicted in my avatar.

there are so many to choose from it is hard to decide. character games like wall - e are good for the kids, but they move onto liking other characters so quickly that they can burn out of them quite fast. i would take houdini's recommendation on little big planet, that is just all round fun.

go into the playstation online store from your ps3 and download elephunk. the demo is free, but the game is only $5. this is a really fun game for kids as they build bridges for the elephants to go across. it is a lot cooler than it sounds.

i would say that the ratchet and clank games would be a good bet for you for that age of kids. that or some racing games that are out there would be good for them as well.
