I actually work for a company that sells blu-ray movies, so naturally, I'm a huge fan of it! I work in the Marketing Department of a company called Direct Brands and one of our clubs is CHCanada.com (where we sell a great selection of movies, music, etc). We are Canadian-based and open to any ideas or suggestions any of you might have for our site and our offers. On a more personal note, I'm a mommy of 2 beautiful children and a wife of 1

I enjoy watching most genres of films, but my faves are dramas, romantic comedies, action, suspense and sci-fi. I love sitting down with the family for a fun movie night! The last movie we saw as a family was "Alice in Wonderland" in 3D...it was GREAT!!!

I'm new and joined simply to ask a question. Is there any BluRay DVD player out there that will resume play from the point at which it was stopped - even after taking the DVD out and re-inserting it the next day? My old Sony player would do that. When watching a series such as the Golden Girls or Cheers - one episode nightly, I now must suffer through all the crap at the beginnng of the disc every time. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Bruce

I'm a new member and messed up my first post so will try again.
Is there any Blu-Ray DVD player that will resume play at the point at which the play was stopped - even after removing and re-inserting the disc? This feature is very convenient when watching one espisode daily of a series such as the Golden Girls or Cheers. (My older Sony DVD player wouod do that.) Otherwise one must suffer through all the junk at the start of the disc each time. So, if there are 50 episodes, I'm threateneed with fines and/or imprisonment 50 times. Ridiculous.
