i have been wondering for a long time now if this is something that i can do on my own or do i need a professional to come out and do this for me like they say when i go to best buy. my friend use to work for a tv store and they would do this for me with there tool. any help will be this will be appreciated.

i think that you can buy the tool that is used to calibrate your tv at any store that sells you a tv. they try to use this as a way to get you to buy their extended warranty. i have a link to a guide that will help you out with this and will hopefully answer all of your questions.

wow this is a great guide i never know just how easy it really is to get your tv set to the right color as they say. i hate when you buy a new tv and they say that you should get the extend service plan and have them come out and calibrate you tv. this is just a way for them to get some extra money out of you. i now see how easy this is and i could go out and do it myself. thanks for the help harry.
