there are so many options to a home theater system? what is the best way to go about getting one. i know that you can buy all the parts indivdually or you can buy a package that will give you everything you nee. what is typically to best rout to to take when i am looking to buy a home theater system?
this will depend on what you want in your home theater system. sometimes you are better off you get it peace by peace to get what you want. the package is nice because you will get everything that is the same and will work well with each other. the package will also all look the same were as if you by it separate you may have some stuff that is not all ways the same. you can always upgrade stuff later on as well like the receiver.
if you have the money to buy all the components at once, do it. you can buy packaged sets anywhere, but i would go to a knowledgeable store, not a big box retail store. talk to an expert who knows what they are talking about, so that you can get what you are looking for, and components that compliment each other.
i think this persone is refering to htib (home theater in a box) there every where at wal-mart, best buy etc... sometimes those are fine for someone who just wants to have some surround sound and it be easy to set up and there not interested in or there budget doesnt allow for high quality sound. if your a casual movie watcher its probably fine, if you love going to the movies it's not going to make you happy. if you want above average you will need to visit a store that specializes in home audio and video. now in those stores there will be stuff that will blow your mind looking at the price tag hahaha so it's up to you how deep you want to go and what your budget is going to allow. those same shopes do have resonable priced things too don't get me wrong but it's all how much into movie watching at home you are. hope this helps.
