do's and don'ts; rules on posting hot deals!

general rules:

1. before posting, make sure to check this section to see if same deals or bargains have been posted by other members. the search function is your best friend.
2. please remember that when posting deals and bargains, every members of the forums should be able to take advantage of them. the auctions are not allowed because only one person can come out as a winner.
3. when describing deals and bargains, please include as much information as possible. such as coupon codes, net price after rebate, minimum purchase requirements, combo deals, site links, s&h costs, expiration date, quantity limitation, and etc. the more info the better it is for the members.
4. when contributing to deals and bargains thread, please be courteous to the original poster. do not reply with useless statements!
5. please do not post guides or advise on how to scam or rip off retailers. we are here to buy products at a good price and not here to exploit their mistakes! for example, if you found out that you got a special treatment because you decided to be aggressive with customer care rep, do not post this sort of stuff.

specific rules:

1. webmasters are not allowed to promote thier sites or products.
2. no self promotion is allowed: no referral links, affiliate links, or any type of advertisements in the post or signature are allowed.
3. merchants who wish to give deals to members must contact us first. advertisements without consent is strictly prohibited.
4. no scanning of coupons.
5. no splitting amazon prime.
6. no auction links.

the above rules are designed in a way to keep the forum spam free, and also provide a place for people to post deals that they have found. let us know immediately if you found anyone abusing this forum.

furthermore, the above rules are not final but subject to change at our discretion.

the violation of above rules, depends on the severity, will result in infraction/warning points or permanent ban. we have zero tolerance for spams.
