Default Hdmi question on my tv? - 09-15-2011, 10:25 PM

i've just bought a blu ray player for my 40'''''' led tv. i'm using an old hdmi cable that i found downstairs by my old tv. i've noticed while watching green zone on blu ray that i'm seeing alot of grain. especially on dark moments when it's almost black. could it be the hdmi cable? or what? please help thanks.

try another movie, some times it is the actual movie which is slightly grainy. if other movies are like that too then it could be the hdmi cable.

it could either be your hdmi cable or tv. can you play another movie, and check the quality on that. you could also try a different tv. if it's still grainy, then buy another hdmi cable off amazon; they are like $10.00

i bought 3 of these and they all work perfectly:
