when ever i put some dvds in my blu ray player the dvd get frozen on the copy right warning and it doesn't move beyond that. it only happens with some dvds or even just some discs in a set from a tv show. is there a way to fix this?

are the dvds blu-ray? are they scratched? it is possible to get faulty discs when buying dvds so if you just bought them might check the return policy. i can't think of anything off the top of my head to fix the issue except for finding where the issue lies. try the dvds in another player and see if they work. also try different discs in the blu-ray player to see if the problem repeats itself anywhere. from there then you have a little more specific info to work with

i suspect the problem is just dust or finger marks. clean with a smear-free product (ie window cleaner) being careful to not use circular motion and wipe with a soft kleenex.
