I my blu ray player has a bad connection to the TV? - 09-06-2011, 03:00 AM

i just recently bought a 27 inch tv that is about 6 years old at a garage sale for 6 dollars. it works great except when i tried to watch a movie the audio/video cords don't have a good connection to the tv so unless i hold it at an exact angle the picture or sound will not show,

is there anything that i can buy that will allow me to hook the player up?
