i own a sony bravia kdl-46s5100 lcd hdtv. when watching movies (blu-ray or regular dvds) the color distorts it self. for example characters faces will be red and in the same scene you can see it going from dark red, to light red back to dark red.

i use the blu-ray player that comes with the sony ps3.

is this a problem with the tv, a setting (i've tried editing a few and nothing helped), or what? could this be a problem with the hdmi chord?
