thinking of taking it with me to college. if i don't need to bring my dvd with me, it would be a space savor.

yes, it is a built in blu ray. every game for it is also on blu ray.

just to give you a warning, watch the amount of normal dvd's you play on it that aren't blu ray because the ps3 actually has to work harder to play them. (the laser has to go faster, and it has to spin the disc faster in order to play it, with blu ray it doesn't have to spin it as fast). basically it can cause the system to overheat if your playing nothing but dvds that aren't blu ray on it. try to play as much blu ray as you can.

the failure rate of the ps3 is the least out of all the systems out, but you can never be too precautious of something that does everything.

yes blue ray player built in also acts as a tv with bbc iplayer and 40d available etc with internet connection so your roommate might like you and best of luck in college bud!
