ok, so i have a sony vaio vgn-fw21m with blu-ray. thing is, i have a projector, but there's no remote for the laptop and sony don't offer one. so i though i could maybe get a mini-wireless keyboard with a built-in mouse to remote control the blu-ray player. any suggestions?

that's exactly what i do with a home theater pc. if you don't plan on surfing the web with your projector, one with a built-in touchpad or joystick mouse will work fine. if you do plan on gaming or surfing, get a wireless laser mouse in addition because the touchpads and jostick mice aren't very smooth or comfortable for long term use.
you could also buy a windows compatible remote if you have win xp media center edition, vista or win 7, but they don't have the flexibility of a full keyboard
