i just found this article that shows that blu ray players now have hit all time low price of $100. i thought it would have taken a lot longer to get to this point, and i am sure that the economy had something to do with it. i am glad to see that the prices are dropping, even movies seem to be going down as well. i see the movies on sale frequently. hopefully more brands and companies will follow suit and drop the price.
excellent information! we currently only have a ps3 to play our blu ray movies in, but now purchasing an additional is looking promising. we need something in our bedroom so that my husband and i can watch our blu ray movies at night when the kids finally decide to go to bed. it is hard to watch a movie in the ps3 anyways because as soon as we turn it on, they want to play a video game. thanks for sharing the information, i will have to check it out for myself.
i saw this news earlier today and was really excited. i haven't seen this low of a price ever, nothing even this close! i was thinking of getting one for the family room, it doesn't hurt to have another.
we are looking at some surround sound systems this weekend so i will have to keep a look out in stores to see if anyone else has similar deals. thanks!
this is such great news to see that blu ray players are comming down in price. i have been looking to get a second blu ray player to go with the ps3 that i have at my house now. the price has just been way to high to just go out and buy an extra one but if they are are going to only be 100 bucks then i am going to be getting the second one sooner then later. this is great news harry and thanks for the info.
i wonder if sony is going to drop the price of the ps3? it has a lot of great technology, but $400-$500 is a lot of money. the blu ray players are getting closer and closer to the price of regular dvd players, which will soon be obsolete. i wonder how long it will take until they are gone and blu ray has taken over?
it is about time they get down to reasonable prices. it will make it easier for blu ray to take over when more families can afford them. think about it, how much would it cost to convert your dvd collection over to blu ray? for me, it would be quite a bit. most people have more than one dvd player in their home, and it would be quite costly to replace all of them if they were still expensive. i hope this is just the start for better things to come.
this is great new and will help to get the blu ray numbers across the country up. this will also help to drive down the price of the blu ray movies. this is great news for anyone who is looking to buy a blu ray player.
this is the news that i have been looking for for sometime. i have been looking to pickup a blu ray player sometime soon. i have the ps3 but would like to get a second one that the price is coming down.
