panasonic is supposedly releasing a vhs/blu-ray combo player. i'm not sure what panasonic is doing with this bizarre combo. people looking to buy blu-ray players most likely have high def televisions and are not looking to play their old vhs tapes. most hardcore video collectors have moved on to at least dvd technology to replace their old vhs library. but, if you have need for vhs, panasonic has you covered. the models are dmp-bd80 and dmp bd60.
