i have 2 different tv's one is a sony 52 wega rear projection it is the one we use most frequently. it only has 720p capabilities but 720 is still ok it beats 420 anyway i plan on getting a blu ray player for xmas am i wasting money on it because i plan on using it with the sony.

if so i do have a 32'''''' lcd up in my room with 1080i capabilities any way the price of blu rays have come down to my price range $150. i think wal mart even has a toshiba for 129.

you will have hard time noticing the difference between 720p vs 1080i/p on your 52 inch set. go ahead get a blu ray player for the xmas.
