Question How many people only own a PS3? - 01-28-2009, 10:51 AM

there are quite a few different blu ray players currently available, but i think a lot of blu ray users only own a ps3. how many of you have only a ps3? would you consider purchasing a stand alone player? i know i have been looking for a stand alone player now, just because i do not want to purchase another ps3 for a second room. what do you own?

i own both a sony blu ray player, and a ps3. i agree with you and i wouldn't purchase a second playstation, but i needed something for the second family room. our whole family is really into movies, so it was necessary for our lives. we have the ps3 for our movies and our games.

our family actually has two. the whole family loves to play so we have one in the kids room as well as one in the family room. they are nice to have when we can play video games as well as blu ray movies.

i also have both a stand alone blu ray player as well as a ps3. we watch a ton of movies at our home, so it is essential for us. but, we also have an extensive library as well of blu ray movies. good question, i have always wonder how many people just own a
ps3 to watch movies.

for the longest time, we only had a ps3 for our blu ray player. in the last week we have just upgraded for another room in a bedroom. slowly i am sure we will add even more to complete our house.

i really don't think you need anything else than a ps3, the cheapest one costs $400 so it's pretty much cheaper than most bluray players, and that way you really don't have to connect/unconnect each time you switch from a game to a movie

i also have a ps3 and have had a good experience with it. i haven't had problems with any blu-ray titles. there have been firmware upgrades over the past year that increased the number of video formats that it will play.
