i would like to know if anyone has heard anything about there being any kind of a portable blu ray player anytime soon. i would love to switch my collection to all blu ray but when i go on long road trips my kids love to watch there dvd's. this would do me no good to get all blu ray if i would not be able to use them in the car sometime soon. i would think that with all the technology out there someone would have one coming out soon.

i haven't personally heard anything about a portable blu ray player, but i am sure that it is in the near future. the problem is i don't trust my kids with too many blu ray movies because first of all there isn't much of a selection yet of movies for kids, that and i fear them ruining them. they are a lot more expensive than traditional dvds and my kids are still pretty little.

i would say by fall we would see the first portable blu ray player. they have come a long way in a short amount of time, and i wouldn't think it would take much longer. i am sure it is being worked on. but the real question is, how much are they going to be?

i am sure that this will be right around the corner. it took a little bit of time before they got the portable dvd players out as well. this is still new so it will take them some time but i am sure by the christmas season we will see a portable blu ray player on the market.

this is something that i would like to see sooner then later. i will be looking forward to seeing this come out soon. i have not heard anything out about this yet but i am with you i am sure it will be out before the end of the year.

i am surprised that they have yet to get a portable blu ray player out on the market yet. my guess this is because they are still so expensive. with the recent price drops to blu ray players i am sure that it will not take long for them to have a portable model on the market soon.
