i know you can find them on sale sometime, but why are they still so expensive? i would love to convert my whole collection over, but there is no way that i can afford to do so. any suggestions for me? can you burn your regular dvd movies onto blu rays? how much would the disks be?

the price of the blu ray movies has come down a lot over the past few months. the price of the blu ray players has been dropping fast and the when the price of the player drops the price of the movies follow suit. so i would just give it some time or buy them when they come out that first week when they are on sale. i would not burn a dvd to a blu ray this will cost you more then just buying a new blu ray.

you can actually find quite a bit of them pretty cheap, especially around the holidays. i added quite a few to my collection this fall around the holidays, it's the best time to shop. also, keep an eye out on bigger online shopping websites like amazon because they tend to have quite a few on sale.
