disney has announced that they will now box all three editions of high school musical on blu ray. the boxed set edition for blu ray will be released of february 17th, 2009. it will also include 5 hours of bonus features. these 3 shows are incredible, and i cannot wait to see them finally come to blu ray. the suggested retail price is $109, which means you get no discount if you purchase them as a set or separately.

i will have to check out to see what the bonus features are going to be. my teens love this show, but i have only seen bits and pieces of it on television. this will definitely be one to add into our collection. disney is like one of the only ones who puts kids shows on blu ray, hopefully more will follow suit soon. it won't be much longer till blu ray takes over. thank you for sharing this with us!

i am the kind of person that would like to see some kind of a discount if you are going to buy all 3 blu ray movies at the same time. maybe $10-$15 bucks would be a good discount. i am sure when it comes out there will be some kind of a discount for the first week it is out like every other set of movies that come out. i am not really into the high school musical stuff but i know that my daughters are.

this will be one collection that will have to wait for the kids. yes i know that they are quite popular, but i won't spend $110 on a boxed set, not even for a christmas present. too bad it is disney because you probably won't see it on sale. i rarely will find any deals on disney movies, unless you buy like two at a time, then you will save $5. disney makes great films, but that is kind of a turn off.
