new models cannot play ps2 games, but the 20, 60 and 80gb fat models can.
no dvd's work as well and certain video file types. cd's work as well.
the amount of gig's will depend on what you want to store on the drive. if you want to put lots of movies and downloads from the psn then get a bigger sized hdd. if not then a 160gb will work fine.
batman arkham asylum, ratchet and clank a crack in time, dirt 3, gt 5, this one is difficult for me as i don't play many non m games.
you can download games, movies, tv shows, themes, music, demos.
digital games are games that don't require a disc to play them, they get stored on the hdd.
the psn is the online component of the ps3, where you can download things from, it also is what you connect to when you want to go online with your games.

160 gigs is enough for most users , you can easily upgrade the hard drive any time yourself without voiding the warranty
