hi i'm currently have a 52''''''sony bravia hdtv/lcd 1080p 120hz with 4 hdmi ports for 2 year now & was planning to give it my little brother b-day present since he loves my sony hdtv & also i do not mind upgrading. i want to buy a new 3d/hdtv & i was thinking sony bravia, samsung, panasonic, sharp aqua. last 2 years ago, i use to have a lg 46''''''hdtv/plasma 1080p 600hz but it only lasted 2 weeks & exchange it for the 52''''''sony bravia hdtv/lcd 1080p 120hz with 4 hdmi ports which i have right now. i now learned that plasma are not good for gaming & especially pausing the game. my budget is $2500 or less, about 46''''''-52'''''',that is full 1080p,120hz or more.i want to use it for blu-ray movies,hd sports,hd channels, video games, & at least that has 4 hdmi ports or more. yes call me a geek! now my question is which brand of 3d/hdtv should i buy that is worth the money? i do not trust plasma but can i trust led? i heard that led is not good for gaming & led is mostly for dark rooms is that true?
i can't find 3d/lcd in stores which it makes me believe that 3d/hdtv is only available for both plasmas & led right? i guess that i'm stuck with led. thank you.
p.s. since i'm familiar with sony, should i go for sony hdtv/3d? is it better then other brands like samsung, sharp aqua, & panasonic? and also is it true that the 3d glasses they need batteries? thank you.
to bdogg,
