| How do I get my 1080p 120hz HDTV to run at 120hz? -

i just recently bought a samsung 46'''''' 1080p 120hz lcd hdtv. i believe its the ln46d630 model. now, i primarily use my boyfriends ps3 to watch bluray movies on it, but i don't understand why the picture is only coming out at 60hz. (sorry, i'm new to the hdtv scene. =/) so how do i get the full potential out of my tv? i'm using what seems like a gold plated hdmi cable, i'm not sure what the brand is, but i bought it pre-owned at gamestop.
so, i guess my main concern is why my blu-ray movies are only running at 60hz.
like always, any help is greatly appreciated =]
ooooh, ok. thank you for clearing that up. so i would assume that the auto motion plus is also running and does not need to be set up?
and just out of curiosity, is there a setting for auto motion plus?
