i guess so, i mean it plays all blu-ray movies. i don't see why it won't play 3d blu-ray movies.

no not really actually not that many most but the new 3d movies even on a 3d t.v. but yea other than 3d movies (new 3d) yea it plays all blue-ray hope i help psn- deathboy23

blu-ray is itself is sony innovation, so, yeah, their own system should do all of their own tech.
