| Does 1080P matter on a 32'''''' LCD TV? -

i am looking to purchase a new 32'''''' lcd tv. i could save about $50 by going with 720p instead of 1080p, and i heard that at my viewing distance (5-8ft) and on a 32'''''' screen, the difference isn't noticeable. now, i plan to use the tv in the future to double as a computer monitor and i also play games with my ps3 and xbox 360. i do own a couple blu-ray movies as well. but again, at the viewing distance mentioned and the screen size, will i notice the difference?
currently looking at getting this...

but they have similar 720p models that are $50+ cheaper, same specs otherwise.
i really would love to have an internet connectible tv, but if i am hooking my pc up to it in the future, does it matter?
these are the 3 tvs i am looking at...one is the above link...
