i have a sony bdp- s360 and it has been nothing but problems. i sent it in for repair and just received it back today. it will play most blu ray movies but it still has a problem reading blu rays like little fockers and saw 7 ( you can mostly see through those movies when you look at them in the light). has any one else been having this problem with movies you can about see through ? the people at sony said it may be because those are new release movies but thats not correct considering i just bought harry potter 7 and narnia 3 and those are new and work. i am connected with internet and got the lastest updates i dont know what to do please help!!!

sounds to me more like the blu-ray player you have is defective.

demand a refund and buy a different one.
