even before the release of this movie, there have been tremendous amount of hype for both the movie and the late actor heath ledger. it's pretty rare for a movie to surpass the hype and meet the expectation. this movie does it without a sweat. mike nolan, director of batman begins, delivers a movie to remember. i think a lot of us have been eagerly waiting for the sequel to the batman begins. nolan has redeemed the batman franchise from the silliness that preceded it. nolan's take on batman is on par with if not better than tim burton's batman movies.

this is just not another superhero movie. it is a crime/thriller movie that stand on its own without being in gotham setting. as a crime story, it can stand on its own. the plot of crazy and chaotic criminal who has no regards for mobsters or cops trying to bring chaos to the city is fairly good. i think where it falters as crime/thriller is that joker has no desire for anything but chaos. thankfully, this is batman movie and we can truely accept joker burning the mountain of money as normal. i don't think there are many people left that has missed this movie in the theater. so, the plot summarization is not really necessary. instead, i'll just say this is not a simple ''''''blow em up'''''' type of movie.

i think that this movie is by far the best batman movie. at first i thought the plot was going to be hard to follow. i saw the dark knight a couple of times when it was in theaters, and since my husband is such a fan of the show as well, we bought it on blu ray a week after it was released. this was probably my favorite movie of 2008.

the movie the dark knight is by far one of the best movies of 2008. the dark knight has some great acting in it with the late heath ledger as the joker. which he did a wonderful job playing in the dark knight. this is a must see if you are any kind of a fan of the batman movies. this i would have to put at the top of my must see list.

this was such a good movie. it definitely surpasses my expectations, as it was a great film. i was definitely impressed with the show. it's one of those types of movies that is a must have for everyone's collection.

before its release, i have no expectations for this movie. but then, after watching it, i was thrilled. i feel that this movie is the best movie of the year. however, i was confused with the plot during the first few minutes..
