i have never seen planet earth before, but i noticed today that it was towards the top of the list as a best selling blu ray. has anyone purchased this collection, if so, is it worth it? my first impression would be that it would be pretty lame, but then i thought about how cool it would look on blu ray.

any thoughts?

my parents bought the blu ray movie online, but i have yet to go over there and see it, just because it never really interested me. it might be kind of cool though, if you get into the science museum kind of movie. not a good family classic, but it may keep you entertained.

i actually have seen it, we have it and it is awesome. i know there is a lot of people who think it is pretty lame, but it is actually quite entertaining. i think it is well worth the money. i have watched it several times.

sigourney weaver did an amazing job narrating the entire series. just jaw dropping to watch our planet in super duper high def!

i agree you will never get a better picture of the earth. i will have to pick this up sometime when i find it for a good price.

i would have to agree with ed. this would have to be on of the best things to watch on blu ray, and the narration was excellent. by far one of the best things i have ever seen come out to blu ray. thanks!
