if i play a blu ray disc on my ps3 at the top right corner of the t.v. there is a rectangle that shows up that seems to be a second behind the rest of the picture. it starts out big then goes up the screen and disappears. then in about 5 minutes it happens all over again. what would make this happen?

i would try a different set of cables first, if your using cheap cables and you move the ps3 around a lot sometimes it will effect the connection ends especially for hdmi the wires are very small and the connections between the plug and wire are not soldered well in cheaper wire....it may be the tv or the ps3 but i would start with the wire...
