ok, so i've just put together a full 1080p video on sony vegas, and i would like to play it on my tv. how would i go about doing that? i can't burn blu-ray disks, and i'm on a desktop so plugging it in directly isn't viable. it's a relatively new lg 42'''''' hdtv. thanks in advance
sorry if i wasn't clear. i can't directly plug my computer into the tv, as it's a desktop and at the other end of the house.

no problem at all, see in order to get it on your hd tv all you need is to get a

get it, then one end(the big fat one goes in your pc) and the other end goes in your hd tv's hdmi port at the back............then just lay back and enjoy your new hd tv

i have a boxee box. it can access any video that is on my network, including computers in other rooms. there are other boxes available that can do this as well.

if your hdtv has a usb input, you may be able to write the video file to a usb thumb drive, then view it on the tv. alternately, i've heard some panels have the ability to read sd/cf cards. you might be able to go that way as well.

you can burn hd on a regular dvd, in a format that a blu-ray player can play.
