i bought a film on a blu-ray disc from amazon.co.uk and it says ''''''for rental or resale'''''' why?????????????????

discs from a rental shop say for rental only and discs from a normal shop say for rental or resale on them.....its just how it is....probably a legal issuenor aomething?
