Default New Custom PC Build - No Picture On First Boot? - 06-14-2011, 01:03 PM

just finished building a new custom pc, all i have plugged into the back i/o ports is mouse, keyboard, power. we have also tried using both mini hdmi to hdmi to the tv and dvi to vga to a monitor but none have worked the pc turns on fine for 10 seconds then turns off, then after about 1 - 2 seconds it turns on again.

specs:
antec 900 gaming case
asus p8p67 pro r3 p67 socket 1155
intel core i7 2600 sandybridge
lg blu-ray drive
wd 1tb 6gb/s hard drive
pny geforce gtx 560 ti enthusiast edition
corsair vengeance 8gb (2x4gb) ddr3 1600mhz cl9 1.5v non-ecc unbuffered
arctic cooling freezer 7 pro rev 2
antec truepower 650w modular psu
power supply seems fine as the graphics card's fan is working and the graphics card only needs a minimum of 500w
sorry guys fixed it out myself all it was is one of the ram sticks failed so took that out, so i will have to do with 4gb at the moment.

sounds like a power supply issue to me. that 650 watt psu is pushing it with a gtx 560, and antecs aren't exactly quality power supplies. i'd recommend the corsair tx750.

to below: antecs are quality psus, and 650w should be plenty for that build. how many amps does it have on the 12v rail though? not sure about the 560 gtx, but my 570 gtx requires 38 amps
