well, as the title says, i just bought one and am kinda disappointed with the quality. it's lcd hd and i was expecting the shows to be really clear. all i'm getting is the usual quality but stretched to fit the screen making it less clear. of course, blu ray discs look beautiful, but is this really how the normal channels are supposed to look like? :/

did you also upgrade your cable/satellite service to hd and are you tuning in the hd channels, as opposed to the standard ones? (yes, they are different)

in my case (comcast/xfinity), i had to call them and they had to send me a new digital box capable of hd and i had to subscribe to hd service (about $5 a month extra)
