microsoft shot down the rumored blu-ray drive for their xbox 360 console. there were rampant rumors surrounding a possible add on or integration of blu-ray drive to xbox 360. however, various executives from microsoft has come out and said that they were in favor of downloadable hd content instead of blu-ray drives. microsoft was once a prominent back of hd dvd. now, their new windows 7 and xbox 360 will not have native support for the blu-ray.
