Talking Looking for a New Blu Ray Drive for your Computer? - 01-24-2009, 01:48 PM

i have been looking around for some time and found a nice blu ray drive from new egg that will get the job done for you. it is made by lg which i have never had any trouble with a lg brand burner before. the price tag was a good deal for a blu ray burner that is 6x speed. the price was only $199 bucks with free shipping. i love to use new egg because they are fast and ship it for them most part same day.

here is the link if you want to check it out for yourself.

lg really does make a good product. i have been quite impressed with their electronics. my computer is so old, i think i would have to upgrade it first before i bought this. also, i would probably wait until the blu ray recordable disks went down in price, they can be quite spendy. but, they hold a lot of information.

i will wait for them to come down in price. like houdini said, the disks are so expensive right now. the player is not a bad price at $199, especially for a decent brand. i want my laptop to have a blu ray drive, that would be nice. good find!

this is not a bad price for a blu ray burner right now. i have seen some of them getting down to the reasonable range of even as low as $100 dollars. they maybe not as fast or as good as this blu ray burner.

wow this is a good price for a blu ray burner that is that fast at burning. most of the ones that you will find right now are going to be 2x speed. this one looks to be 6x speed and it has a good price at only $200 bucks.
