the warner home video will be releasing blu-ray edition of the exorcist until 2010. the exact date is still unknown, but hopefully not towards the end of 2010. the movie will feature both the '73 theatrical cut and the 2000 ''''''version you've never seen.'''''' the restoration will be done by william friedkin and director of photography owen roizman. expect the blu-ray edition to be fully packed with extra features. blu-ray for the win!
